Job Description:
iostudio is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Account Executive. The Senior Account Executive will work with a major national client. They are responsible for representing the client’s goals and expectations at all times to internal and external audiences. The Senior Account Executive will collaborate with other members of the account team, project management, development, brand intel and creative staff to communicate client objectives and develop effective and efficient solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Become the subject matter expert for assigned client. Learn their business, their strengths and their competitors.
- Understand agency capabilities and identify opportunities to use them to accomplish client business objectives.
- Guide the day-to-day development of all client projects. Plan, coordinate and direct the marketing strategy and advertising efforts on behalf of client.
- Understand brand strategy and apply to all deliverables.
- Confidently represent business interests of company and their clients.
- Be independently motivated and act in a timely and decisive fashion to achieve goals outlined by client or agency leadership.
- Be fiscally responsible with account budgets and billing, and prepare the appropriate paperwork before submission to the client.
- Write documentation for projects, including creative briefs, feedback, meeting reports, proposals and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Analyze client reports for accuracy, consistency, applicability and relevance of content. Identify areas of opportunity and make revisions and recommendations independently.
- Develop project estimates, working closely with the Traffic Manager to ensure accurate time and costs. Ensure that project timelines are approved with adequate time to meet deadlines.
- Review all creative work prior to submitting to the client for approval. Ensure all work meets or exceeds iostudio and client standards.
- Build and strengthen client relationships, proactively responding to their needs and following up on all requests.
- Manage client photo and video shoots, including planning, scouting, shoot and post-production.
- Participate in research, competitive analysis and reporting of findings. Develop quarterly competitive reports for internal and client audiences.
- Stay a student of the industry—continue to be abreast of current trends, technology, design styles, etc.
- Participate in new business activities as assigned.
- Represent iostudio in a professional manner with all client leadership, vendors, staff and industry peers.
- Complete and submit daily time reports.
- Travel up to 30 percent.

Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of professional account management experience; at least 3 years in an advertising or marketing agency, including prior experience managing client accounts, including timelines and budgets.
- B.S. or B.A. in advertising/marketing or similar field.
- Experience with military accounts and/or time in military service is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of social media channels and trends is required.
- Experience leading interactive projects required, including knowledge of interactive development, online advertising, email marketing and social media.
- Candidates should have experience independently managing multiple projects simultaneously and have the ability to switch quickly and comfortably between priorities as determined by client need.
- Should have demonstrated success growing existing client business and/or bringing new clients to the agency.
- Attention to detail, sense of urgency and ownership, and high standard of excellence are necessary for success.
- Must demonstrate analytic thinking and strategic problem solving.
- Must have effective and professional written and verbal communication skills among both peers and high-ranking client audiences.
- Strong proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable software.
- Work effectively with other team members across all departments, and maintain positive morale and a sense of teamwork.
- Experience in broadcast, print and interactive production is strongly preferred. Familiarity with processes and procedures for photo/video shoots, post-production and design is required.
- Learn and abide by the operating policies and procedures of iostudio.
- Citizen of the United States of America (as required by government contract).
- MUST be able to qualify for a government security clearance.
