GX®: The Guard Experience

In 2003, National Guard Soldiers were deploying at a rate unprecedented since WWII. The missions at home and abroad were putting pressure on the Guard to recruit new troops and retain existing ones.

That’s when Guard leadership called on iostudio to find a way to inspire, empower and educate seasoned Soldiers, new recruits and their families. iostudio’s solution was to create a magazine that would celebrate and support the Soldiers and families of the National Guard. And today, we’re honored to say that GX is a vital part of the Guard experience.

We have always shared a love for the Guard mission and the men and women who serve America. In fact, more than 50 percent of iostudio employees are currently serving Soldiers and Veterans. For over 13 years, we have worked closely with the Guard at all levels of the organization to ensure that GX is not only the best military magazine, but is among the best magazines–period.

Today, GX is a four-color, 108-page, bimonthly publication going to over 200,000 homes in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and three territories.

GX, a valentine to the National Guard ... [is] a source of both information and comfort to some of the men and women shipping out and the families they are leaving behind.”
